8th Annual Summer Sizzler Sprint Triathlon

Just a short update to let you know about packet pickup and late registration Saturday evening from 5-8pm at the Lake Chatuge Lodge (Ramada Inn) next to Shoneys.

We will open registration at 6am Sunday morning from the race site at the Ga Mountain Fairgrounds, Hwy 76, Hiawassee Ga

Get there early to get a good spot on the bike racks.

Day of Race Registration 6am 

Start: 8am

4/10 mile swim, 13 mile road bike and 3 mile run

The Ga Mt Fairgrounds is located on Hwy 76 just past the Shoney's on the north side of the road.

The water is still clean and the roads are lightly traveled for the bike portion of the race.

Hiawassee Ga is about a 2 hour drive from Atlanta, Chattanooga, Asheville, Greenville and other cities. Hotels Rooms, Cottages, Bed & Breakfast and great food for all tastes.

Included in that price is a one day $10. membership to the USAT. If you can show a current USAT card, there will be a refund at the race site.

Awards:

Overall Male and Female 3 deep, then the age group awards will be in 5 year age groups as well as Clydesdale & Athena
