We had to change the distance for the sprint bike course from 16 miles to 9 miles to accommodate the wishes of the local police that will be helping us with the safety of the race.  It is actually a more balanced race with the distance being shorter.... but don't be deceived..  you will have a challenging ride even though the distance is only 9 miles.  If you have any questions about the change, feel free to contact us about it.

This sprint race is a real good way to participate in a triathlon and build up your confidence in you ability in the sport.  The 4/10 mile swim is done in a clean lake with great support from safety crews to keep an eye on you while you are in the water.  We will have folks on the bike course to help guide you around and make sure you have a fun and safe ride and you will end up taking a run on a paved jogging trail where you won't be on streets and dealing with traffic.  In all, if you decide to come and race with us, you will have a great and positive experience that you will plan on doing over and over again in years to come. 

    This is the kind of race venue that you may decide to bring the family to so that everyone can enjoy the day.  There is a children's playground right at the transition area and if you need a baby sitter to watch your kids when your competing and you let us know in advance, we have been able to get someone there to keep an eye on the kids.

All in all, this is a very fun, challenging and friendly race for you and your family to enjoy.
