Jackrabbit Mountaindu
Off-Road Duathlon

April 10, 2010

So get ready for a great race!

The run consists of a 2.2 mile mountain trail that is groomed and has great views. Then you will get to be the first group of racers to experience the newest mountain bike trails in the southeast.   These are trails that go all over the mountain, up into the trees and back down to lake level for a full 14 miles of challenging beauty..  Then we end with the same 2.2 mile trail run, but this time in the reverse direction.

Tee shirts guaranteed for all pre-registered racers and for as long as they last for late registration sign ups..

Check in and Pick-Up will begin at 8:00 am

Special thanks to the US Forest Service for providing the land and great trails for us to do this fun and challenging race.

Race Starts at 10 am

General directions to Jack Rabbit:

Find your way to Hiawassee, GA. At the main light in town (at McDonalds) turn onto hwy 75 headed toward NC. Jackrabbit is about 5 miles up the road on the left hand side. Look for my white Triathlon Club signs. Coming from the NC side? About 5 miles east of Hayesville on hwy 64, look for state road signs saying "Jackrabbit Campgrounds" follow the signs to the race. Look for our club signs.
