This is a really fun course to do. It starts off at the Clay County Rec. Park, with a 4 mile run on paved trails that go along the side of Lake Chatuge and through the camp area and dam and back. The bike course leaves from the transition area and out onto beautiful country roads for 16 miles that wind their way around the lake and foot hills of North Carolina and North Ga. It's not like riding in the city where you're dealing with a lot of traffic. This is country, and you'll love it. Then, we end the event with a 2 mile paved trail run.
